![]() ![]() I sit back and fire light or chain light and things never even see me coming. It all revolves around insight and warmth, but my sorc rarely takes damage. It’s not that great and kind of gimmicky. I keep seeing people talk about energy shield. After 350% you get diminishing returns so many players look to optimize survivability after 350% MF. With the extra skill points you can get more synergies in a hybrid sorc and you'll still be able to reach 350%+ MF which is where the first major breakpoint for MF is. So you have a much larger pool of HP without sacrificing a ton of MF, you gain a lot of survivability and damage which will make your sorceress able to MF safely in more areas. I did this real fast from my phone, but you get the idea. Not all points in Vitality are the same, the 5% increased health doesn't apply to +vit stats and I think I left out the +life on level up too. This math isn't 100% accurate, I took some shortcuts to simplify the math. You'll lose around 220 HP without Enigma. The 5% increase HP will put you around ~990 HP. Which, for example, if you're running Engima, Shako, War Travs, Tals Ammy, Spirit shield, Nagel rings, goldwrap and Ali baba then you'll have ~938 HP. This leaves you with 374 base points to put into Vitality at level 90. Couple that with War Travs and a Shako and you have +80 strength. Which equates to 68 more HP verse using Tal's armor or Vipermagi. +68 strength at level 90 is 68 more points into vitality. And if you're running Insight the 15% damage taken goes to mana is just another boost to survivability.Īll in all it's a great runeword that isn't wasted on a sorc. Also the 5% max life is a huge boost to a vita sorc and damage reduction provide a large boost to survivability. Short version: Less points in strength, good MF, less points in the lightning tree that can be put in cold or fire. ![]()
